How Can I Send a Member a Private Message? PDF Print E-mail

There are 2 ways to send private messages:

Via the Discussion Forums

All members are asked to ensure they register on the forums (see "Chat in the Forums" in the User Menu once you've logged in).

The forums have a private messaging function.  Just locate the member and click on the "PM" icon and you'll be able to send a private message.

Private messaging is available free of charge to all members.

Via the Main Site

Once you're a registered member you'll have a user menu pop up each time you log in, and this shows any messages you've received, as well as giving you a mailbox to use to send messages and check old messages.

In addition, when you view any member's profile, you'll be able to send a quick message from there.

Unwanted Messages

Of course we'd hope that no inappropriate messages would be sent, but if you receive one, please let us know immediately so that we can act appropriately, removiing the person from the site if necessary.  Your comfort and safety are paramount to us and we want to ensure that you have a great experience on DykePage.
